PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP
Responsible (AI) Artificial Intelligence for Purposeful Boards& The C-Suite
Boards and the C-Suite must lead purposefully in an AI-enabled VUCA world. Responsible AI and Purposeful Leadership together enable boards to strategize and make decisions in the face of volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous legal and regulatory requirements; geopolitical forces; employee needs; customer expectations; suppliers, and other stakeholders. For some businesses, AI is far more than an efficiency play: it is existential.
The needs and expectations of this broader set of more deeply affected stakeholders requires more thoughtful board oversight. Traditional leadership skills are only a foundation. In the context of AI, leading with purpose will create stand-out enterprise value.
PROGRAM SUMMARY
In this Program, The Bonar Institute performs an initial discovery of the client’s AI risks and opportunities as they pertain to their respective industry with the objective of creating real, relevant, and meaningful AI use case risk scenarios that are specific to the client’s industry and business.
The main objectives of the program are to understand how AI affects the dynamics of fiduciary duties; understand when the board needs to gain more knowledge of AI relevant to fulfill its fiduciary duties; gain a high-level overview of how Purposeful Leadership and Responsible AI converge to position boards and the C-Suite to make meaningful decisions in the VUCA world of AI; and deeper dives into validating and refining client-specific AI use case risk scenarios in interactive exercises.
