The Bonar Institute’s James Bonar and David Cliche will engage webinar participants in an interactive discussion on the following topics:
(1) Organisational Reporting Structures: Data and analytics remain a challenge for over half of respondents, who find it difficult to show progress with a comprehensive, integrated measurement and reporting framework. Exploration of Top of Form vs. Bottom of Form concerns.
(2) Adopting AI Tools: The C-Suite and the Board struggle to understand fully the risks and rewards of adopting AI and automating previously manual tasks. There’s a need for better awareness of AI’s risks and guidance on how to lead through its rapid and disruptive changes.
(3) ELT + Board Collaboration: Some organisations are seeking greater cross-functional collaboration with the Board to ensure internal subject matter experts can contribute their knowledge and benefit from the Board’s experience and expertise.
(4) Shaping Organisational Culture: Certain organisations are struggling to build a culture that both attracts top talent and engages employees positively. They are still working on making their culture as appealing externally as it is rewarding internally.
Background: The topics originate in a recent research project with 60 members of the Virtual Advisory Board (VAB), a Bonar Institute partner, that focused on topics impacting organizational decision-making.
