Sessions Synopsis

Module 1: High-Performing, Strength-Based Leadership Skills for Women including:

a) Self awareness & fostering adaptive and flexible mindsets.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we work. This new reality is placing extra demands on employees, along with pandemic stress, fears, and uncertainty.

Many of the countries that are doing the best in navigating the pandemic are led by women. The most successful are self-aware. They cultivate a flexible mindset of resiliency, and foster resilience in others. Strong women leaders understand that empathy and compassion are a strength, not a weakness.

Duration:
Virtual: 2-hour sessions

Target Audience:
Executives, senior managers, line managers, project team leaders, and team members

Training Objectives:

  • Learn to recognize, understand, and appreciate how your people feel during difficult times, and respond with empathy.
  • Excel in navigating through difficult times.
  • Empower and support women-led teams to excel through difficult times.
  • Increase employee engagement and mobilization.
  • Earn recognition as a market leader in your industry.

b) Create high-performing, cohesive and purposeful teams

A high-performing and cohesive team is the ultimate competitive advantage. Effective training empowers the team to move beyond the “stuckness” that most will encounter at some stage of their work together. The power of women leaders has not yet been fully tested or tapped. We need to build towards using it more often. (Ellen Johnson Sireaf, former president of Liberia and Nobel Peace Prize winner). Learn proven methods that enable women-led teams to achieve positive outcomes, be accountable for results, and ensure that each team member’s talents serve a purpose.

c) Leadership is influence

Even at the top levels of an organization, Women leaders struggle with how to influence others in a male-dominated hierarchy. It’s both an art and a science to have the right conversation with the right person to achieve the best result. The most successful, purposeful women executives have high stakes influence conversations with their superiors, peers, direct reports, and other stakeholders. They engage and influence people to willingly implement their ideas. These leaders must master this essential skill to achieve desired outcomes and lasting success.
