Join AI, Privacy & Cybersecurity expert, Scott M. Giordano, Esq., FIP, CISSP, CCSP, CIPP/E/US/C/G, CIPT, CIPM, and the Bonar Institute’s John Barker for a webinar that will cover the following topics: Artificial intelligence systems pose a particular challenge with respect to cybersecurity, owing to their greatly expanded “attack surface” – i.e., the number of all possible attack vectors where a threat actor can access and extract or compromise data. Not surprisingly, with a greatly expanded attack surface comes greatly expanded legal exposure. In the presentation, we will examine cybersecurity mandates stemming from U.S. laws such as Executive Order 14110 as well as the recently-passed EU Artificial Intelligence Act and do so in light of developments in liability of corporate directors and officers for cybersecurity failures.

Takeaways include:
· A survey of the cybersecurity requirements of AI and non-AI laws and corresponding legal exposure
· A review of leading on-point publications and frameworks from MITRE, OWASP, and NIST
· Case studies of organizations that were and were not successful in meeting this new challenge
